HIGHLIGHTS
Oceanside 35, Hempstead 22: Quarterback Vincent Guarino threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns to lead Oceanside (7-1) over Hempstead (2-6) in Nassau I. Guarino also rushed for 23 yards and one touchdown on nine carries. He threw a 42-yard pass in the endzone to Kevin O'Keefe with 2:30 remaining in the half, giving Oceanside a 21-0 lead. Casey Kelly had five receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown. Free safety Conner Johnson led the defense with 11 tackles. Outside linebacker Joe Denaro had one sack and two tackles, including one for a loss.
