Sayville 28, East Islip 10 Jack Cheshire completed 15 of 23 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns as top-seeded Sayvile (11-0) won its Suffolk record 14th county title. Cheshire broke the Long Island single season record for touchdown passes with 41. The old mark was 40 by Sayville's Jack Coan in 2014. Third seeded East Islip finished the season at 8-3. Sayville will face Plainedge (11-0) in the Long Island Class III final Friday at noon at Stony Brook University.
