Sayville 42, Kings Park 17: Brock Murtha ran, caught and threw for touchdowns to power No. 1 Sayville over No. 5 Kings Park in a Suffolk III football semifinal on Friday night. Murtha caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Jack Cheshire to give Sayville a 21-10 lead before halftime, then opened up the second half scoring with a 2-yard TD run in the third quarter. Murtha found Nate Casaburi for a 21-yard touchdown pass to provide the final margin in the fourth quarter. Cheshire completed 13 of 18 passes for 131 yards and two scores and rushed for a 1-yard touchdown. Casaburi had five catches for 62 yards and two TDs and Alex Millwater rushed 11 times for 64 yards and a score. Max Llewellyn had four sacks for Sayville (10-0), which plays No. 3 East Islip in the Suffolk III championship at 7 p.m on Thursday at Stony Brook. Kings Park finishes 7-3.
