Massapequa 43, Uniondale 36: Terence Gallivan rushed 26 times for 210 yards and three touchdowns and John McClenahan had a game-saving goal line tackle to push No. 4 Massapequa past No. 5 Uniondale in a Nassau Conference I quarterfinal. With Massapequa ahead 43-36 with six minutes left in the fourth quarter, McClenahan made a stop on the 1-yard line on fourth-and-goal to help seal the win. John Giller's 27-yard TD run midway through the third quarter gave Massapequa a 43-27 lead after Joe Fraschilla's fifth PAT. Giller rushed nine times for 97 yards and one touchdown and completed 3 of 4 passes for 90 yards, including a 34-yard TD pass to Dom Cassamasina. Michael Rollo led the Chiefs with 10 tackles, Cassamasina had nine tackles and Dan Meaney added eight stops. Sam Khodaparast rushed for a 1-yard score and also recorded a sack for Massapequa (7-2). Uniondale finishes 4-5. Massapequa plays either Freeport or Baldwin on Thursday at Hofstra.
