Hewlett 44, New Hyde Park 12: Richie Lyons scored four touchdowns in the first half of the Nassau III win. After Shlomo Amar returned the opening kick-off 80 yards, Lyons got the Bulldogs on the board with a one-yard run with 11:00 left in the first quarter. Lyon's 38-yard run with eight minutes left in the second quarter gave Hewlett a 30 -0 lead. Lyons also scored from eight and 20 yards out. Lyons totaled 104 yards on ten carries. Jeremy Leguillow had 251 all-purpose yards, including 110 return yards. He ran for 110 yards on six carries and caught one pass for 25 yards. Amar made two interceptions Mike Rubino made six tackles to lead Hewlett (3-5).
