Carey 35, Manhasset 21: Anthony DeNicola rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries and Jason Kessler tossed three touchdown passes to lead Carey in Nassau II. Kessler connected on a 12-yard touchdown pass to Frank Scarrantino to give Carey a 26-21 lead in the third quarter. Kessler completed 13 of 19 passes for 207 yards. DeNicola scored on a 58-yard run to put Carey ahead 13-7 after one quarter, but Manhasset's Joey Terenzi ran for his second and third touchdown in the second quarter and the Indians led 21-20 at halftime. DeNicola scored on a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter to provide the final margin for Carey (2-2).
