Newfield 42, Bellport 18: Hunter Hughes made three tackles, had three interceptions, broke up four passes, had 82 yards on six catches, and caught a 48-yard touchdown pass from Maxwell Martin in Suffolk II. Martin rushed for 127 yards on 15 carries and threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns. E.J Dougherty's 59-yard touchdown run with 9:19 left in the third quarter gave the Wolverines a 28-18 lead. Kyle Meidarios made six tackles for Newfield (2-0).
