Islip 42, Miller Place 13: Patrick Mai returned both an interception and a punt for a touchdown and Joe Juengerkes rushed for 81 yards and a score on 10 carries to lead Islip in Suffolk III. Mai went 51 yards on the interception return in the second quarter and returned the punt 56 yards on the next possession to give Islip a 35-0 lead at halftime. Mai also had two catches for 46 yards. Jack Spahn rushed for two touchdowns on four carries and Dom Pugliese added a 19-yard touchdown run for Islip (1-1).
