North Babylon 49, West Babylon 7: Running back Matt Grassa rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on six carries to lead North Babylon (4-4) over West Babylon (1-7) in Suffolk II. On defense, Grassa led the team with five tackles and one sack. Grassa ran a 32-trap play untouched right through the middle for a 79-yard rushing touchdown, giving Norh Babylon a commanding 42-0 lead. "He played an all-around good game on offense and defense," assistant coach Mike Goetz said. Freshman running back Jared Zeigler rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on ten carries. His cousin Nahmiek rushed for 62 yards and one touchdown on three carries. This was Nahmiek's first varsity touchdown. Defensive end John Clemente had two sacks and linebacker Kevin Connor recorded one interception.
