Jack Cheshire threw for 471 yards and five touchdowns including a 10-yarder to CJ Messina in OT and Jayson Gensch made a game-ending OT interception to lead Sayville to the win. Brock Murtha had 10 catches for 223 yards and three touchdowns and made a key interception for the Golden Flashes (2-0). Jaden AlfanoStJohn rushed for 156 yards and touchdowns of 19 and 49 yards, Jesse AlfanoStJohn had two interceptions and Jeff McBurnie threw a pair of touchdown passes for Westhampton (1-1) which lost a regular season game for the first time since 2016.
