East Islip 23, Islip 6: Brandon Miller completed 15 of 22 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns to spark East Islip in its Suffolk III opener. Nick Baldino caught four passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Rob Kreush caught three passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Tom Higgins led the defense with 10 tackles, a sack and an interception. Dylan Rigo added 10 tackles of his own and a fumble recovery.
