Deer Park 48, Copiague 30: Matt Jacob completed 19 of 22 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns to lead Deer Park in a Suffolk II opener. Jacob found Ethan Martinez for a 24-yard touchdown pass to give Deer Park a 34-18 lead in the third quarter. Junius Johnson rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries and had touchdown runs of 6- and 17-yards to seal the win in the fourth quarter. Martinez had six catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Deer Park snaps a nine-game losing streak.
