Longwood 20, Whitman 17: Najee Shorter hauled in an interception on fourth-and-10 in the waning minutes of play, setting up Anele Nwanyanwu's 70-yard dash to effectively run out the clock and lift Longwood (5-2) in Suffolk I. Nwanyanwu also scored the go-ahead touchdown with 5:30 in the fourth, a two-yard run, finishing the day with 140 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Whitman (2-5) took a 17-14 lead with seven minutes on the clock, on Mike Aloisi's 1-yard run and Josh Aravald's extra point. Longwood's Noah Rattmer was 8-of-10 for 201 yards and one touchdown, a 70-yard pass to Troy Terry. Zach Soriano caught five passes for 113 yards. Mike Loughran finished with three sacks.
