Patchogue-Medford 23, Sachem North 10: Angelo DeVita rushed for 118 yards on 12 carries with a 58-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter and added two sacks and a forced fumble on defense to lead Patchogue-Medford in its Suffolk I opener. Tyree Jackson completed 9 of 15 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown and Marc Anthony Pedrosa had four receptions for 74 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown in the second quarter to start a run of 16 unanswered points for Patchogue-Medford. Aidan McBride and Kyle Dierlam each had 11 tackles on defense. and Jon Allen added seven tackles and a fumble recovery in the win.
