Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 28, Syosset 14: Connor Healy rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries to power Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK to a playoff berth in Nassau I. Healy scored on a 57-yard run on the second play from scrimmage in the third quarter to tie it at 7-7 after Chris Aaron's PAT. Julian Purnell scored the go-ahead touchdown with a 51-yard run on the next possession. Purnell rushed 15 times for 126 yards and two touchdowns, while also completing 6 of 11 passes for 82 yards. Healy's 71-yard touchdown later in the quarter put POB-JFK ahead 20-7. Nick Nemickas had an interception on the Hawks' 10-yard line with under a minute left in the first half to halt a potential Syosset scoring drive, and Danny Cook intercepted a pass on the Hawks' 35-yard line with three minutes left in the fourth quarter to seal the win. It's Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK's (5-3) first win over Syosset since 2005, according to coach Chris Rogler. Syosset falls to 2-6.
