Wantagh 21, Bethpage 20: Peter DelGais connected with Tom VonBargen on a 23-yard touchdown pass with 2:30 remaining to tie the score at 20, and Michael Coney converted the go-ahead extra point for Wantagh (4-2) in a Nassau Conference III win over Bethpage (1-5). VonBargen's touchdown capped a 96-yard drive for the Warriors. Mike Rodian's interception near midfield with 48 seconds left sealed the win. DelGais completed 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Nick Teresky led Wantagh on the ground with 18 carries for 81 yards and a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Sean Carlo returned an interception down to the Bethpage 8-yard line to set up Teresky's score. Teresky also threw a touchdown pass. Matt Fantry, who scored all three touchdowns for Bethpage, rushed for a 14-yard touchdown later in the third to put Bethpage ahead 20-14.
