HIGHLIGHTS
Whitman 31, Centereach 7: Jaron Batts ran for 70 yards and a touchdown on eight carries and also caught a 56-yard touchdown pass to lead Whitman (2-5) in Division II. Batts, who ran a fly pattern, caught Sean McEnte's pass on Whitman's first drive of the game early in the first quarter. Batts' rushing TD came in the third quarter when he broke a 33-yard run to put Whitman ahead 29-0. Linebacker Savion Black led Whitman with nine tackles and two sacks. Gerson Cruz had five tackles and three sacks at defensive tackle.
