Patchogue-Medford 53, Half Hollow Hills East 18: Wide receiver Connor Coughlin caught 10 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns to lead Patchogue-Medford (5-2) in Suffolk I. The senior moved into second place for most career receptions in county history. Coughlin's third reception, a bubble screen that went for five yards in the first quarter, was his 108th and moved him ahead of Sachem's Michael Brantley (1992-94). "He does a little of everything and he's got excellent hands," Raiders coach Gary Marangi said of the 6-1 wideout. "Most of this has happened since his junior year. We installed the spread offense last year and he got 53 catches. He's got 52 this year already." Coughlin's 41-yard TD catch gave the Raiders a 21-12 lead in the second quarter. Anthony Lee completed 14 of 23 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns. Tyshaun Thomas ran for 134 yards and two scores and Matt Codispoti had four tackles and two interceptions, one of which he returned 21 yards for a TD in the third quarter.
