Mineola 23, Bethpage 22: Ericson Velasquez's extra point with 1:50 left in the game lifted Mineola in Nassau III. Mineola scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to come-from-behind. John Salamone's three-yard touchdown run caped a five-play, 75 yard drive and tied the score at 22. Bethpage took a 21-16 lead with 3:20 left after Kevin Mouton's 60-yard touchdown pass to Christian Castles. Mineola's Matt Tarantola rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. His 20-yard touchdown run with 6:40 left in the game put Mineola ahead 16-7. Salamone rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Juan Flores made 10 tackles and Joe Luchessi made 11 to lead Mineola (2-1).
