Hicksville 17, Hempstead 13: Michael Smith caught the 11-yard touchdown pass that gave Hicksville the 17-13 lead, which they would not relinquish in Nassau I. Quarterback Shane Buquicchio completed 5-for-8 passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Buquicchio came up big on the defensive side for Hicksville (1-2), intercepting a pass midway through the fourth quarter to help preserve their lead. Sean Giordano led the defense with nine solo tackles.
