HIGHLIGHTS
Plainedge 36, Bethpage 12: Dan Villari rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries and completed 14 of 22 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown to lead Plainedge (2-0) in Nassau Conference III. Villari also hooked up with Doug Elsesser on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter. Dion Kuinlan added 13 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 31 yards. Donovan Pepe had a 26-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter and totaled six receptions for 76 yards. Pepe also recovered a fumble in the end zone in the fourth. Brayden Clark had eight tackles, Vin DiMarco had an interception and Travis Shaver had a sack.
