Island Trees 24, Valley Stream South 14: Ryan Mastropaolo rushed for 144 yards, a touchdown, and a two point conversion on 21 carries in Nassau IV. He intercepted Valley Stream South in the end zone with 20 seconds left in the first half and returned it 97 yards to prevent the Falcons from taking the lead going into halftime. Tyler Becklein returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown with 11:56 left in the game to give the Bulldogs a 14-8 lead. Mastropaolo's 5-yard touchdown with 5:05 left in the game increased the lead to 22-8. Joe Gagliardo made five tackles and had a sack for Island Trees (2-0).
