Valley Stream Central 25, New Hyde Park 0: Nate Grimesley rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries to lead Valley Stream Central in its Nassau II opener. Lionel Phillips added 91 yards on 10 carries and had eight tackles. Jordan McCray completed 8 of 14 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown and Jacob Tejada had three receptions for 88 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown in the second quarter. JJ Beaubrun added four receptions for 63 yards and Rob Nunez had eight tackles in the win. Coach Michael Rubino creditted the offensive line for a strong game.
