Longwood 42, Commack 15: Anele Nwanyanwu rushed for 242 yards on 21 carries to lead Longwood (6-2) in Suffolk I. After the Cougars took an 8-0 lead, Longwood scored 28 unanswered points, with Noah Rattmer having a hand in all four scores -- passing for three and rushing for another. Rattmer completed 9 of 13 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns, all to Zach Soriano, who finished with 141 yards on the day. Kory Stevenson led the defense with nine tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery. Mekhi Kelly added an interception and Derrick Sperling added eight tackles. Commack falls to 3-5.
