HIGHLIGHTS
Shoreham-Wading River 44, Glenn 7: Xavier Arline rushed for 294 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries and went 3-for-4 for 48 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 2 Shoreham-Wading River (9-1) over No. 3 Glenn in the Suffolk IV semifinals. Arline opened the scoring with a 35-yard score in the first quarter, and he threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Visintin to give the Wildcats a 30-7 lead before halftime. Arline also opened the second half with an 80-yard touchdown run. Visintin rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries and added an interception. Shoreham-Wading River rushed for 421 yards as a team. "We just wanted to play to our strength, which is running the ball," said assistant coach Virgil Romer. "A lot of credit to the offensive line, they made it happen today." The Wildcats face No. 1 Mt. Sinai in the Suffolk IV final at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Stony Brook University.
