Carey 35, Manhasset 7: Jason Kessler completed 8 of 13 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns and Nick Giacalone had an interception with two receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 2 Carey (7-2) past No. 7 Manhasset. After Patrick McGrath opened the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown run, Giacalone intercepted a pass and a caught a 47-yard touchdown on the next play. In the second quarter, Anthony DeNicola had a 3-yard touchdown run, Devin Hartz recovered a fumble five yards for a score, and Riley DeMeo caught a 24-yard pass from Kessler. DeMeo had four catches for 64 yards and was also 5-for-5 on extra points. Andrew Scarpinito made seven tackles (four for a loss) and Vincenzo Milione added seven tacles and a forced fumble.
