Freeport 48, Syosset 14: Jayvian Allen, Asauni Allen, Terrance Edmond, Jordan Jackson, Justin Lescouflair each had scoring plays in the first quarter putting No. 1 Freeport up 41-0 and ultimately leading to a win over No. 8 Syosset in the quarterfinals of the Nassau I playoffs. Jayvian Allen scored the first two touchdowns, less than a minute apart, on 1-yard plays. With 5:49 left in the first, Edmond scored on a 34-yard rush. At 4:47, Lescouflair caught a interception returning it for 30 yards. Edmond also scored on a passing touchdown, throwing the ball to Jackson 65 yards. Asauni Allen rounded out= the quarter with a 51-yard punt return. Freeport totaled 136 rushing yards.
