Northport 35, Newfield 20: Justin Gerdvil rushed 19 times for 140 yards and four touchdowns to lead Northport (6-2) in Suffolk II. He also had seven tackles and two sacks. His 20-yard touchdown run in the second quarter gave the Tigers a 14-7 lead. Ryan Smith rushed 11 times for 80 yards, caught two passes for 60 yards and recorded an interception. Sean Walsh completed 7 of 12 passes for 132 yards and rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
