Smithtown East 19, North Babylon 18: Dean Shaffer rushed 20 times for 174 yards and three touchdowns to lead Smithtown East (6-2) in Suffolk II. Trailing 19-6 in the fourth quarter after Shaffer's 5-yard touchdown run and Ali Abdul-Rassoul's extra point, North Babylon cut the deficit to 19-12 on Ross Tallarico's 53-yard run. Brandon Didier then scored on a 45-yard run -- his second TD of the game -- to bring North Babylon to within one point. The two-point conversion run attempt failed, giving Smithtown West the win.
