Northport 23, Huntington 22: Ryan Smith's 34-yard catch-and-run on a third-and-15 pass from Sean Walsh early in the fourth quarter gave Northport (4-2) the 23-22 win in Suffolk II. Angelos Poulos' fumble recovery halted a late drive by Huntington, which was on Northport's 25-yard line with six minutes remaining before Poulos' recovery. Brendan McNelis' 37-yard field goal just before halftime put Northport down 22-17. Justin Gerdvil rushed 14 times for 50 yards and two touchdowns. His brother, Jeremy Gerdvil, made 18 tackles to lead the defense. Walsh completed 14 of 24 passes for 150 yards and the touchdown to Smith.
