Center Moriches 45, Southampton 14: Tyrell Thomas threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns on 9 of 14 passing to lead Center Moriches (6-1) in Suffolk IV. Thomas hit Tarik Rountree for a 49-yard TD on the first play from scrimmage and later connected with John-Cody Cerverizzo for a 61-yard TD on a wheel route to make it 14-0 after the first quarter. Zach Brady hauled in Thomas'' third TD pass from 31 yards out to make it 24-0 in the third quarter. Thomas also had 74 rushing yards on eight carries and had seven tackles. Rountree had two catches for 86 yards and returned a kick-off 80 yards for a score, while Cerverizzo had four catches for 99 yards. Kyle Parks had eight tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery and Dominic Venturino had eight tackles. Southampton is 1-6.
