HIGHLIGHTS
Northport scored on its first two offensive plays of the game -- with long touchdown runs by twin brothers Jeremy and Justin Gerdvil in Suffolk II. Jeremy ran for a 61-yard touchdown on Northport's first play and Justin ran for a 55-yard touchdown on the team's second play. The touchdown was Jeremy's lone rush of the game and Justin finished with 61 yards on three carries. James Ambrosio rushed for 31 yards on eight plays and Ben Stola had a 14-yard run in the win. Matt Fuggini had a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown to give Northport a 34-0 lead a little before halftime. Sean Walsh and Stola also connected for a 40-yard pass in the win.
