Half Hollow Hills West 40, Kings Park 21: Dakim Griffin rushed 11 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns and also had a 26-yard touchdown reception to lead Hills West (3-0) in Suffolk III. Griffin scored his third touchdown on a 53-yard run that gave Hills West a 20-0 lead in the second quarter. Sadiq Hinds had six carries for 121 yards and two touchdowns and Justin Brown had 15 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown. After Mike Ingrassia caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Kevin Decker to bring Kings Park within 6 in the fourth quarter, Hinds responded with an 80-yard touchdown run to put the Colts ahead 34-21. Joey Venezia had 12 tackles and two and a half sacks and Jake Cetta had one interception in the win.
