Center Moriches 27, Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 18: Brett Furhmann ran seven times for 56 yards and two touchdowns to lead Center Moriches (1-1) in Suffolk IV. Down 18-14 in the third quarter, Furhmann forced a fumble that was recovered by Jack Donohue, eventually leading to a Brad Sakellarides 10-yard touchdown run that put the Red Devils ahead 21-14. Emond Frazier ran eight times for 118 yards, completed 4 of 7 passes for 61 yards and also intercepted a pass on defense. David Carroll had four catches for 47 yards and a 10-yard touchdown run. Derek Pedone had 10 tackles and two sacks and Nate Sigerson added two sacks for the Red Devils.
