Hauppauge 34, Rocky Point 14: Joe Esposito went 6-for-11 with 109 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hauppauge in a Suffolk III opener. Esposito also rushed for 52 yards on five carries. Gavin Bean had 91 yards on six carries, including two rushing touchdowns. Christopher Bartone ran for 86 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown. Danny Mauriello had three receptions for 93 yards including a touchdown in the second quarter. Bartone had a 5-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter. Brian Sulinkski made two interceptions. Bartone also recovered a fumble in the third quarter.
