South Side 39, Valley Stream South 20: Nick Licalzi scored three touchdowns and amassed over 250 all-purpose yards to lead South Side (6-1) in Nassau III. Licalzi scored the go-ahead touchdown on an 84-yard kick-off return to put South Side ahead 25-20 in the third quarter, then extended the lead with a 22-yard touchdown run on the Cyclones' next possession. Licalzi returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to give South Side a 6-0 lead. William Pickett ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and completed 4-for-8 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. Greg Lethbridge added seven tackles and two sacks.
