HIGHLIGHTS
Long Island Lutheran 60, Great Neck South 29: Running back Tristan Etienne ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on six attempts to lead Long Island Lutheran (3-3) in Nassau V. Mark Malpica caught a kickoff return, handed it to Phil Henderson to reverse the field, and Henderson ran up the sideline for a 70-yard touchdown, giving Long Island Lutheran a 40-22 lead at halftime. "He's recovering from hand surgery. He had a pretty good first day back," head coach Chris Reno. Running back Anthony McCoy rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on nine attempts. Running back Justin Brown rushed for 21 yards and one touchdown and Elijah Walters rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown. Freshman running back Traejon Barnes scored his first varsity touchdown of his career. Linebacker Griff McNair led the defense with eight tackles. Nick Gunderson had five tackles.
