Uniondale 15, Massapequa 14: After scoring a 2-yard touchdown to cut Massapequa's lead to one-point with 1:28 left in the game, Rolando Meyers-Turner followed up by running in the two-point conversion for the game's final score as Uniondale defeated Massapequa, 15-14, in Nassau I football. Meyers-Turner rolled out on a designed pass, before diving over the goaline for the two-point conversion. "The last thing I told him was 'Don't be afraid, take it' and the way he played, I don't think he was letting anyone take the game but him," Uniondale coach Philip Coppola said. "And he took it." Uniondale drove the ball 68 yard on seven plays in less than three minutes, with Meyers-Turner scoring the 2-yard touchdown with 1:28 left in the game. Massapequa drove down the field after the ensuing kickoff, bringing the ball to the 15-yard line, and Meyers-Turner intercepted the pass with eight seconds remaining to secure the win. Meyers-Turner completed 12 of 17 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 217 yards on 19 carries and two scores and added eight tackles for Uniondale (4-2). Adonis Lawrence added 11 tackles in the win. Uniondale also made a defense stand following Massapequa returning the opening kickoff deep in Uniondale territory, with the Knights stopping Massapequa four straight plays after a first-and-goal from the 1-yard line.
