Babylon 42, Mt. Sinai 7: Babylon extended their LI-leading and school-record win streak to 18. Eric Schweitzer ran the opening kickoff 74-yards to the Mt. Sinai seven. Three plays later, Nick Santorelli ran two-yards off the left tackle for a touchdown to give Babylon a 7-0 lead in Suffolk IV. After a 57-yard Mt. Sinai run was called back on a holding penalty, Babylon (6-0) quickly ragained possession and never looked back. Jake Carlock caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from Santorelli with sixteen seconds left in the first quarter to give the Panthers a 14-0 lead. Santorelli threw three touchdowns, bringing his season total 15. The number breaks Brett Tiedeman's school record of 14, set in 2003, according to Babylon stat keeper Tony Spota. Nick Santorelli was 9-for-12 for 179 yards and three TDs. Jake Carlock intercepted two passes, bringing his season total to six.
