Valley Stream South 27, North Shore 22: Valley Stream South scored 12 unanswered points to come from behind in Nassau III. Craig Powell rushed for 101 yards on 18 carries and scored touchdowns of 7 and 24 yards. His 7-yard score with 11 minutes left in the third gave the Falcons a 27-22 lead. Michal Hicks rushed for 128 yards on 13 carries and scored a 65-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Tyler Van Etten and Powell combined to stop North Shore on a fourth-and-goal at Valley Stream South's 2-yard line with 4:00 left in the game. North Shore ran 15 plays inside the Valley Stream South 30 yard line in the fourth quarter and failed to score. Inside linebacker Pablo Rivera made nine tackles and Van Etten made 10 and hurried the quarterback three times to lead Valley Stream South (2-2)
