Mepham 28, Valley Stream Central 13: Sean White completed 12 of 18 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns to lead Mepham (3-1) in Nassau II. Gianni Macchio had 17 carries for 105 yards and one touchdown for the Pirates. Anthony Paolillo added two receptions for 19 yards and eight tackles, and extended the Mepham lead to 21-13 with about six minutes remaining on a 15-yard touchdown reception from White. Matt Hegi had three catches for 52 yards and a touchdown, and also recorded 17 tackles and a sack for the Pirates. Marco Baez notched two sacks and a fumble recovery in the win.
