HIGHLIGHTS
Carey 21, Elmont 19: Riley DeMeo had seven catches for 145 yards and blocked a punt in the third quarter to lead Carey in Nassau II. James Stein recovered the blocked punt and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown to put Carey ahead 21-13 with 7:29 left. Jason Kessler completed 22 of 36 passes for 230 yards and one touchdown -- a 9-yard pass to Stein in the second quarter. Devin Hartz had 10 tackles (eight for loss) and one sack, Andre Blanc had a sack and recovered a fumble and Joseph Todaro intercepted a pass in the final 20 seconds of the fourth quarter to seal the win.
