Wantagh 28, Valley Stream North 20: Dylan Scott's third rushing touchdown of the game with three minutes remaining sealed the win for Wantagh (1-1) in Nassau III. Scott ran for 101 yards on 12 carries. Sam Sloves forced a fumble on a Valley Stream North two-point conversion attempt in the fourth quarter that would have put them ahead 22-21. Tom VonBargen added 96 yards rushing and a touchdown and Nick Terseky had 103 yards on 15 carries for Wantagh, which ran for over 300 yards as a team.
