Calhoun 20, Carey 19: Ariel DeJesus blocked a PAT kick in overtime to lead Calhoun (2-0) in Nassau II. Nicholas Turrini's 7-yard touchdown run in overtime put Calhoun ahead 20-19. DeJesus forced a fumble, recovered by Matthew Marzillano on the Calhoun 3-yard line, before the Colts drove down the field for Thomas Casimano's 5-yard touchdown run with under four minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Casimano finished with 175 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns. Turrini ran for 101 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown. He also completed 3 of 5 passes for 46 yards. DeJesus made 17 tackles, nine for a loss. Keith Rosales had nine tackles, four for a loss. Marziliano added nine tackles. Jason Kessler of Carey went 14-for-20 with 170 yards and three touchdowns.
