Seaford 28, West Hempstead 21: With under a minute left to play, Timmy Russell caught an interception to secure the lead and win for Seaford (2-0) in Nassau IV. Seaford was down 21-14 with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. Ryan Butler scored on a 4-yard run but a missed extra point left the Vikings short by one point, 21-20. Thomas Viscio caught the onside kick and two plays later with 2:50 remaining on the clock, Luke DiCapua caught a 39-yard pass from Logan Masters and Joe Angelastro ran for the two-point conversion, making it a 7-point game. Russell's interception secured the lead. Angelastro rushed for 153 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns. Butler had 11 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown. Masters was 4-for-7 with 112 yards and a touchdown. DiCapua lead the defense with eight tackles. Russel and Pat Quinn added two.
