Freeport 42, Farmingdale 12: Terrance Edmond completed 4-of-5 passes for 104 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns to lead Freeport in its Nassau I opener. Freeport scored on its first four possessions, including a 81-yard touchdown run by Edmond, leaving Farmingdale scoreless until the third quarter, 28-0.
