Connetquot 36, Ward Melville 20: George Wichelns had 10 receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns and also ran nine times for 45 yards and two touchdowns to lead No. 5 Connetquot over No. 3 Ward Melville in the first round of the Suffolk I playoffs. Wichelns 1-yard touchdown reception from Dylan McDermott put Connetquot up 30-6 with 6 minutes remaining in the third quarter. McDermott completed 24 of 37 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor Stepanek had eight catches for 111 yards and GQ Grippo had four catches for 57 yards and a touchdown. Cole Bunicci had one catch for 11 yards, recorded 10 tackles, two interceptions, and made a 28-yard field goal for Connetquot (5-4).
