HIGHLIGHTS
Eastport-South Manor 31, Bellport 28: Nijay Brown scored the winning 20-yard field goal in the first overtime to lead Eastport-South Manor (5-1) in Suffolk III. On fourth-and-goal with 27 seconds left in regulation, backup quarterback Matthew Kane dropped back to pass, couldn't find an open receiver and scrambled up the middle for the 5-yard score. Brown scored the game-tying extra point, and Bellport missed their subsequent 48-yard field goal to send the game to OT. The Sharks trailed by 14 with two minutes left in the first half when Justin Pugal, after getting beaten on Bellport's previous drive, intercepted a pass and returned it for a 60-yard touchdown with 1:45 left. Mike Bianco had 14 tackles, three for a loss, and Pat Minogue added three sacks. Cole Zeller had 27 rushes for 114 yards and a TD.
