Mineola 47, Cold Spring Harbor 0: Vinny Bienek threw for 87 yards and one touchdown pass on eight attempts to lead Mineola (3-3) in Nassau IV. Midway through the first quarter Bienek threw a pass down the middle to Justin Oommen for 19 yards and a touchdown, giving Mineola a 7-0 lead. Running back and middle linebacker Ryan Eccher rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown on 10 attempts. He also led the defense with eight tackles. "He's always one of the best players. He does pretty much everything," coach Dan Guido said. Running back Kyle Dunleavey had one passing touchdown and one sack. Running back Mike Sullivan ran for one touchdown and 29 yards on four attempts. Running back Zach Vega rushed for 37 yards and two touchdowns. Vega ran up the middle 11 yards for a touchdown with 10 minutes left in the game, giving Mineola a commanding 47-0 lead.
