Carey 15, Bellmore JFK 12: With six seconds remaining in the fourth half, Dominic Rutigliano threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Riley DeMeo to put Carey (4-1) up by three and earn the win in Nassau II. Carey put up points early with Pat McGrath scoring on a 5-yard run six minutes into the first quarter. Bellmore JFK came back strong in the fourth scoring 12 unanswered points, including a touchdown pass on a fake punt, until Rutigliano's touchdown pass. He completed 13-of-25 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, along with a 2-point pass and 90 rushing yards. DeMeo had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. He was also 1-for-1 in PATs. The defense held Bellmore JFK at bay until the fourth. Devin Hartz had 12 tackles with four for loss. He also had a sack for 5-yard loss. Andre Blanc ended the game with a sack.
